Rainfall Report – February 2018

After 6 months of almost continuous wet days, February returned to near normal with just 10 wet days and a total rainfall of 35.5 mm (1½ inches), well below the February average of 59 mm (2¼ inches).  The second half off the month saw a dry spell of 13 successive days which was the longest since last June.

The wettest February I have recorded was 1995 with 96.5 mm (3¾ Inches) and the driest 1998 with just 7 mm (¼ inch) .
