The role of individual Councillors when “Leading On” a function is to investigate, research, report and make recommendations to the Full Council so the Council can then democratically decide on its formal position, policy and plan of action and then if required by the Council, the Lead Councillor(s) will oversee the implementation of the Council’s decisions, reporting back progress as required.
