Within the village we have a Neighbourhood Email Warning System (NEWS) and this is administered by John Townsend. The primary purpose of the system is dissemination of messages from Avon and Somerset police or Dorset police in respect of crime or suspicious activity. The system is also used for publicising village activities such as Parish Council Meetings and forthcoming events.
